Best Software for Your Photography Business

Choosing the right business software for your photography business can seem like an overwhelming task. There are so many options, and each one claims to be the best! The truth is though, there is no single solution that will work for everybody. The type of software that you choose should depend on what you need it to do. In this article we'll take a look at some of the top photography-related business software programs available today and help you find something that fits your needs perfectly!

I’m going to be focused on software programs that help you grow your business - versus how to create photos.

1). All in One Marketing Platform - GoHighLevel

I love this platform because it allows for me include my entire business in one space - my list of customers, my prospect funnel, my sales pages, website pages, etc.

What I really love is that my prospects and clients can text / call me and it will go to a number that more people can access other than just myself. This is super helpful once you want to grow your team and it’s not just you handling all the things. It also helps when you want to track everything - from where your leads come from and helps convert everyone that hits my website. Here’s an overview view of how I use this in my business and why I think it’s my go-to recommendation to build your business.

2). Email Software - Drip

The one thing I don’t love about GoHighLevel is the email system…so for now I do all of my marketing emails through Drip. The email open rates are amazing (due to great deliverability) as well as its very intuitive and the data behind it makes it easy to use.

3). Booking Software - Youcanbook.me

I love how easy this booking system works for both the client and for me and my team. You can have them pay directly from this software and you can build out an entire messaging system based around the date they book their photoshoot. So for example, we have a text message and email reminder that goes out that links to our getting ready guide and reminds them of their session. And after the photo shoot we schedule a set of emails that go out asking for a Google Review (linking straight to our google review link) as well as to ask for referrals and remind them of when they’ll be receiving their photos.

4). Quickbooks - Accounting

If you’re doing your own bookkeeping or if you have a professional bookkeeper (which I recommend) - this is the easiest way to keep track of all your finances from day one.
